Artist's Notes:
 While my wife and I were visiting Portugal we were impressed by the beautiful flowers of this tree. I wanted to paint a representation, and found a landscape and did my rendition of it. It has the components of perspective and the illusion of space which is also in the trompe l'oleil style.
